Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for an Cybersecurity Consultant for an exciting project with a global FMCG client of ours.

Requirements for the Cybersecurity Consultant are:

Technical & Professional Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in information technology, computing systems, network technologies, security operations, security technologies, systems integration, and the application of information security concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with employees, senior leadership, and external partners, clients, and customers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences at various organizational levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Information security or risk management certifications (ISO/IEC 27001, 27005) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Additional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, PMP, etc., will be considered a plus.

Job responsibilities:

Governance:

  • Facilitate regular meetings with Hub/Country CIO and IT domain managers.
  • Foster collaboration on information security with Zone and Group teams.

Risk Management/Security in Projects:

  • Identify, assess, and evaluate cybersecurity risks within your scope, ensuring appropriate mitigation actions are implemented.
  • Support IT and Business teams, particularly project managers, on all cybersecurity aspects during projects.
  • Review the security posture of third parties, ensuring cybersecurity requirements are included in contracts and appendices.
  • Provide recommendations and monitor action plans.
  • Ensure all security measures (risk analysis, contract reviews, penetration tests, configuration checks, code reviews, etc.) are completed before project go-live.

Compliance/Action Plan Follow-Up:

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and mandatory standards (eg, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Enforce and monitor the correct application of the Group's Cybersecurity framework.
  • Track Group and Zone cybersecurity KPIs and controls.
  • Secure all assets and services within your perimeter by implementing top-tier security measures.
  • Serve as the IT point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring IT security compliance in your region.
  • Address non-compliances, vulnerabilities, and any other security weaknesses promptly.

Resiliency:

  • Actively participate in disaster recovery execution.
  • Ensure a proper Crisis Management team is in place.
