Job description - the role

AMS is the world's leading provider of Talent Acquisition and Management Services. Our contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) service acts as an extension of our clients' recruitment team and provides professional interim and temporary resources.

We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for Workato Integration Consultant for a 6 month contract based in London on a hybrid basis.

An Integration Consultant is required to join the Global Data Services Data Platforms and Engineering team within Arup's Digital Technology Group.

About the role:

• The role will split its time between integration development and CoE activity enabling the organisation to grow in its maturity and increase adoption of the integration platform.
• Develop integrations and connectors using Workato.
• Provide advisory, consulting and best practise guidance to citizen developers working within the client projects and corporate services teams enabling them to be successful and productive using the platform.
• The CoE role will involve integration advocacy activity including: creation of samples, capturing "how to" guides or videos for common questions, hints and tips, creating excitement within the platforms forums and guiding vendor teams to engage within the business.
• Support and advise API product owners and developers on the use of Azure API Manager to publish and manage APIs for the firm (training can be provided).
• Develop and publish best practises and standards.
• As a CoE integration consultant the role work relatively independently with light touch guidance prioritising and organising their workload aligned to urgency and value.
• Have good communication skills and consulting style.
• Work within an agile delivery framework based on SCRUM/Kanban.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

The Integration Consultant role requires:

• Proficiency in integration, API Management (including Azure API Management), and Ruby development for connectors. Experience in developing Workato recipes and custom connectors is also required.
• Fluency in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, ensuring efficient and flexible project management.
• Excellent consulting skills with a positive, can-do attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering clear and effective interactions is also required.
• An approachable and collaborative with a rigorous mindset. Strong prioritization skills and a consistent track record of delivering projects on time.

Desirable criteria include:

• Experience of working with Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience of integration and digital teams for architecture, engineering and construction industry.
• Experience of delivering developer advocacy.
