Infrastructure Architect, with a focus on Linux (Contract)

Are you an Infrastructure Architect looking for a new challenge? Our client based in Brussels embraces the flexibility of a hybrid working model, with an expectation of 50% on-site and 50% remote work.

This esteemed financial institution is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Architect with a keen focus on Linux to join their TechOps team.

Your role will involve a blend of innovation and maintenance, from designing and implementing cutting-edge technologies and tools to enhancing the current Linux setup. Your recommendations will drive change, and your involvement in new feature testing will be critical.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Migration planning from RHEL7 & RHEL8 to RHEL9
  • RHEL 7, 8 & 9 Administration, and system hardening
  • Implementing and automating security standards for infrastructure configurations and controls.
  • Identifying vulnerable assets, assessing risks, designing solutions, and automating vulnerability fixes.
  • Maintaining existing IDP infrastructure and designing/implementing new components.

This role demands a minimum of six years of relevant experience, with mandatory technical expertise in RHEL 7, 8, & 9, Ansible, bash & python, Keycloak, Redis, Nginx, Apache, and NFS.

Fluency in English is mandatory, while Dutch and French are optional.
